The first Rasa Ayamas Restaurant was opened in 1996. In 2003, the Ayamas retail and restaurants division was restructured to:

  • Bring all its ready-to-eat cooked food under the Rasa Ayamas name

  • Sell Ayamas processed products at Ayamas convenience stores (as well as via supermarkets, hypermarkets, mini-markets and petrol stations)

With a fresh new look, a flagship Rasa Ayamas restaurant opened its doors in 2003. In 2007, a rebranding of the restaurant resulted in a name change to RasaMas. Today, there are 27 RasaMas restaurants offering full table service with a halal menu.

The chain's new platform is based on building and enriching Ayamas' relationship with its customers by making each meal a special occasion. With its tagline, 'Malaysia’s Favourite Roasters', RasaMas is a dining experience to be savoured.
