Pizza Hut has put a new twist to the cheesy crust pizza mania with the launch of its Rich Gold Crust Pizza recently.

The special creation is 18% larger than normal pizza, with mozzarella and cheddar cheese on its baked crust.

During the launch at the Pizza Hut outlet in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, QSR Brands Bhd group executive chairman Datuk Izhar Sulaiman said the pizza had a sweet and savoury taste that Malaysians liked.

The choices of toppings are Hawaiian Chicken, Super Supreme, Island Supreme, Thai Seafood and Pepperoni Delight.

The pizza chain, with 124 restaurants nationwide, recently went for an image makeover from that of a quasi-quick service restaurant chain to an affordable, casual dine-in chain.

"It is part of our strategy to further differentiate ourselves from our competitor. "We are also creating more new pizzas and side dishes to further enhance our reputation for serving the best pizzas under one roof," said lzhar.

Pizza Hut's other cheesy crust pizzas include Crazy Lime, Cream Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Cheesy Crust Pizza.

Rich Gold Crust pizza is available ala carte and in special combo sets for dine in, takeaway or delivery.
