A Children's playground for Hospital Tuanku Fauziah in Kangar, Perlis, donated by KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd was opened last week.

Costing RM30, 000 it occupies about 1,061 sq metres and has an integrated play structure, two conventional see saws, two spring riders, four park benches and other facilities for children.

"It is colourful, bright and breezy and the children are going to love it' said the KFCH group public relations deputy general manager Rosniza Baharum.

Its opening coincided with Mother's Day and KFCH also had a surprise for the more than 100 mothers in the hospital's maternity ward.

They brought along a big Mother's Day cake and roses, thermos flasks, manicure sets and cards for the mothers.

There were also KFC premiums for the children and KFC, fried chicken nuggets, coleslaw, Zinger burgers, whipped potatoes and Pepsi for everyone present to enjoy.
